Tuesday - Gentle Ashtanga Yoga
Every Tuesday evening - 7.00pm - 8.15pm at The Lodge. The class will be a gentle, playful exploration of movement and stillness, strength and flexibility, breath and awareness using poses from the Ashtanga sequence. The intention is to create healthy movement patterns, deepen our understanding of alignment and develop postural awareness while investigating the ideas of focus and meditation with a view towards building a small regular self-practice that will provide long term benefits for both body and mind. Yoga teacher Mark Needham will guide you through the class, which is open to all ages and levels of fitness and experience. Beginners are very welcome. If you are unsure if this is the right class for you then please don’t hesitate to give us a call to discuss. The classes are small - in single figures
Please bring your own mat if you can - if you don’t have your own we will be able to provide one.
Mark will provide and encourage the use of blocks during class - if you prefer your own please do bring them.
