Yoga and Mindfulness Retreat Days

In today’s busy world, allocating time to ourselves and our well-being can be challenging. With increases in the pace of life and the use of technology we are rarely alone, leaving us very little time to process our thoughts and experiences each day. Yoga, Pranayama and meditation are great ways for us to give time to our mind and body and their health and wellness. Creating the space and the circumstances for a regular, beneficial practice can be difficult and during the retreat day we’ll look at ways to do this. The morning starts with guided meditation, Pranayama practices and postural Yoga practice. After lunch a mindfulness session is followed by a restorative practice. There will be opportunity to discuss obstacles that get in the way of establishing a regular practice. Mats and props are provided but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Using your own mat is sometimes beneficial.

A simple vegetarian lunch can be provided or you can bring your own if you prefer.

Yoga Teacher, Mark Needham, will guide you through each session, some Yoga experience would be beneficial. If you’re not sure if this is the right workshop for you please do contact us and have a chat.
